King's dancer shares story of Khmer Rouge horror

Australian theatre audiences are being given the opportunity this week to share the experiences of four Cambodian artists who survived the Khmer Rouge era. The performers tell their story using traditional Cambodian dance, music and shadow puppetry. It's called The Continuum, Beyond the Killing Fields and features an 80 year old female dancer, Em Theay, who was recruited as a Royal Court Dancer by the grandmother of Cambodia's present King at the age of seven.
