Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey: According to [Cambodian] army officials in Preah Vihear temple, Thai troops started attacking on Cambodian troops at 01:40PM on 26 April 2011. The attack took place in Phnom Trop and Chak Chreng, located near Preah Vihear temple.
Army officials indicated that at 01:50PM, the Thai aggressors started firing DK82 ammunitions into the Chak Chreng area.
Furthermore, a high ranking Cambodian officer indicated that at 01:35PM, at Ta Krabei temple, Thai planes have circled this zone.
According to frontline soldiers near Preah Vihear temple, at 01:56PM, the exchange of fire between Cambodia and Thailand had quieted.
